December 2020 Update

With the good news on vaccines it looks much more likely that festivals and other outdoor events will be able to take place as planned next summer.  Our own plans are well-advanced. 53 of the 55 main stage artists booked for 2020 are now confirmed for 2021 and we’ve added Lindisfarne and Scottish fiddle ace Duncan Chisholm to our 2021 line-up which can be viewed here.

Wickham Festival – COVID-19 UPDATE Monday 1st June, 2020

With the sun shining, lockdown easing, open-air markets & other venues opening, we thought you might like an update on this year’s Wickham Festival.

First & foremost, the health & safety of all our artists, audience, staff & suppliers along with our local Wickham community must come first. Our Festival can only go-ahead if it’s felt safe for it do so in 10 weeks time.

Wickham Festival – COVID-19 UPDATE

Hello! The Prime Minister has announced the closure of all public entertainment venues for the foreseeable future. Assuming this ban is relaxed at some point before early August the Wickham Festival will be ON. Given our August dates are still 20 weeks away we hope the peak of the pandemic will be over by then and you will be able to leave your homes and enjoy yourselves again listening to the likes of Van Morrison, The Waterboys and many more.

More artists announced for 2020

Over this weekend we’ve updated our website with another batch of artists within our Line Up section. There’s some great new additions we’re excited to welcome to Wickham Festival 2020. As ever there will be several debut performances as well as those that have entertained us before. We believe this is probably the strongest line-up in depth of any celtic / folk / roots / blues / rock festival this summer. What’s more, if you buy your tickets now we continue to be cheaper than Cambridge Folk Festival, Cornbury, Larmer Tree and Beautiful Days amongst others.

I was pit medic for two of his gigs on the island absolutely brilliant gig and a true gentleman

The Wonderful Enigmatic Charming Talented Meatloaf xxx

So sad loved his energy and music

Iconic album...soundtrack to my university years!❤️ Feeling sad today😥

Saw him live several times, ran about the stage like a teenager, so much raw energy, such a talent

He would’ve been top of my wish list to book had I not already been lucky enough to see him live a few years ago. Words cannot express how much talent we have just lost in this man.

    Rest In Peace 🌹🙏

Was my first ever live gig aged about 14yrs old at Portsmouth Guildhall in the 80s. Sparked a love of live music that still exists today

Can't wait!! So glad I decided to get a ticket instead of a much needed new kitchen flooring 😊!!!

My dad is so looking forward to this! Booked after last year & despite the horrendous conditions, you guys went above & beyond!! 👏🏼

Getting to see my all time favourite band is awesome. The only thing to make it better would be if my favourite solo singer played there again as well… Mr McTell?

Levellers best UK live original band. Still got my Wickham 2017 set list. Ferocious Dog supported Levellers in the past, but now the dogs bollocks. Really looking forward to seeing both bands.

I will finally get to see the levellers live, another tick on my bucket list, now if you could just work your magic and get the Thompson Twins my life will be complete

This is going to be awesome 🤩🤩🤩 Hope there's no clashes!
