Luxury Camping at Wickham

Fancy some luxury camping at Wickham?  For 2014 we’ve teamed-up again with the lovely people at Festival Glamping to offer you the chance to camp in luxury Touareg Canvas tents that sleep up to four people, have large doors, full head room, netted ventilation flaps and come equipped with airbeds, rugs, solar lights and other little luxuries that make them so much more comfortable than camping on rock hard ground.  Have a look at their website www.festivalglamping.com for booking details and prices.  If you’ve already paid £25 for a camping ticket at Wickham, Festival Glamping will give you a £25 discount if you upgrade to a luxury Touareg Canvas tent.  Plus… everyone booking Festival Glamping will also receive exclusive backstage VIP tickets for the whole Festival giving access to the exclusive backstage VIP bar, side-of-stage VIP viewing area and, most important, luxury loos!  And the Glamping Field will have its own ‘Posh Wash’ Showers and Luxury Loos with washing facilities in 2014.

Lovely video. Kinda appropriate right now. Great music brings people together, bridging what divides us and inspiring us through dark times. www.youtube.com/watch?v=4xjPODksI08 ... See MoreSee Less

Two artists we've tried to book over the years, so far without success, are Joan Baez & John Prine. John is critically ill on a ventilator thanks to Covid-19. Here's Joan signing his song Hello In There. Get well soon John. ❤️

Many years ago I gate crashed John Prine's 50th birthday party, I was hitch hiking down through the American south back in 1996... Got to Nashville, walked into a bar and there he was celebrating in the back room with a whole load of his musician friends, including Nanci Griffith if I remember rightly.. Good times... long ago... Get well soon buddy!

Oh nooooo, John! Bad news, that. He cancelled his gig at Bridgewater Hall about a month ago. Would have loved to see him. Thanks for sharing this Janey, will have a listen now xxx
