Wickham Festival – COVID-19 UPDATE

Hello! The Prime Minister has announced the closure of all public entertainment venues for the foreseeable future. Assuming this ban is relaxed at some point before early August the Wickham Festival will be ON. Given our August dates are still 20 weeks away we hope the peak of the pandemic will be over by then and you will be able to leave your homes and enjoy yourselves again listening to the likes of Van Morrison, The Waterboys and many more.

Even if the ever-changing circumstances forced us to postpone to next year, your ticket money is safe. All who’ve bought tickets would be able to carry their tickets forward, or seek a refund if Government policy or the ongoing pandemic forced us to cancel. But we hope that won’t happen!

If you’ve yet to buy tickets you can do so here. You can still save £30 on every adult 4-day season ticket if you book before the end of May. We rely on ticket sales to cover our costs of keeping the Festival going so do please support us.

Many events taking place earlier this summer are having to cancel but we still hope to give you the best Festival possible in five months time. We’ll be providing additional resources such as free hand sanitiser and lockers where you can not only re-charge laptops & phones but also sanitise them at the same time.

An artist we’ve tried to book over the years is John Prine. John was critically ill on a ventilator and sadly he has passed away.

In these uncertain & worrying times we wish you well and hope you and your loved ones stay safe and healthy.
