Suzi Quatro will be headlining Wickham Festival 2023

Drum roll please … the iconic Suzi Quatro will be headlining Wickham Festival on Friday 2nd August 2023.  We really are over the moon to welcome Suzi and her fantastic band to the Wickham stage.  We’re sure this will be one to remember!

Her huge hit, Can the Can went to number one in May 1973, and then go on to sell two and a half million copies worldwide.

To date she has sold over an incredible 55 million records. Her hits include, Can the Can, 48 Crash, Too Big, Devil Gate Drive, Daytona Demon, The Wild One, She’s in Love With You, Mama’s Boy, If You Can’t Give Me Love, Rock Hard, and a million seller in the USA, Stumblin In a duet with Chris Norman.

Suzi’s iconic look & glam rock style rocked the world throughout the 1970s.

It’s incredicle to think that since this time she has never stopped performing, although did have a sell out 23 date 2015 tour of Australia billed as your *final* tour of the country. In 2017 she was back where she belongs, rocking on stage, as she headlined a ‘Legends’ Arena tour in the UK, along with Hot Chocolate , The Osmonds and David Essex.

“I will retire when I go on stage , shake my ass, and there is silence” – Suzi Quatro

Last year she released her duet album with singer/songwriter guitarist Kt Tunstall, ‘Face to Face.’ This has charted in numerous terriorities around the world, even getting in to the top 10. It was album of the week on BBC Radio 2, and picked up ‘Album of the Year’ award, presented by major player in music, Jools Holland. This album has amazed critics all over the world. As Suzi said in one of her interviews , ‘people aren’t liking this album, they are loving it.

Our Friday is already looking like a spectacular day of music with other acts Seth Lakeman, Martin Stephenson, 3 Daft Monkeys, Neck, The Annie Keating Band, and Shamus O’Blivion & The Megadeath Morrismen already announced.

These guys are amazing!! Such talented musicians and give a ‘Doors’ experience. They also use 60’s equipment. May be good for the Thursday night tribute band slot. Hands down best tribute band I have ever seen. thedoorsinconcert.com/
