Levellers, Seth Lakeman & Ferocious Dog for Wickham 2024

By popular request, one of Britain’s top festival bands Levellers will be returning to Wickham to headline the Saturday night at our 2024 Wickham Festival (Thursday 1st to Sunday 4th August 2024).

Also newly confirmed are the award-winning West Country folk singer and multi-instrumentalist Seth Lakeman and another fantastic festival band Ferocious Dog who’ll be appearing on Saturday 3rd August, the same night as Levellers.

We have just update our Line Up pages. There are many more artists currently awaiting confirmation including a great American singer & musician; two of Scotland’s finest Celtic bands; and, hopefully, a young Irish country blues singer and guitarist who was THE star of Jools Holland’s TV Hootenanny on New Year’s Eve. Any guesses?

New Arena Field
As previously announced, we’re moving our main arena to a new field which is better grassed, better drained, flatter and has better pedestrian & vehicle access. The move allows us to provide a much better festival experience whatever the weather but all our Wickham favourites will remain – two main stage Big Tops; a host of smaller venues; The Magic Teapot; ‘Bug Beats’ silent disco; late night comedy; street theatre; storytelling; dance displays; music workshops; a traditional crafts fayre; real ales festival and so much more. Plus, for the first time, a series of spoken word events featuring well-known TV & radio personalities talking about the people they’ve interviewed – everyone from The Kray Twins to Elvis and The Beatles. More news on this shortly.

Glamping & VIP Updates
Fancy a little more comfort & luxury to enhance your festival experience? We still have a limited number of ‘Glamping’ tents available which can be booked direct via this link. Or why not book yourself an ‘add-on’ Weekend VIP Pass which gives access to our Backstage VIP Area; Backstage VIP Bar; Coffee Bar; covered & outdoor seating; exclusive side-of-stage viewing area; free mobile phone & laptop charging; and, most important, luxury loos! Backstage VIP ‘add-on’ tickets can be booked on our tickets page.

Individual day and weekend tickets are available online. You can still save £50 on every 4-day adult weekend season ticket if you book before the end of January. At the equivalent of just £50 a day our Wickham tickets are great value for money, cheaper than most similar festivals and if you book by January 31st there are no added booking fees.

And finally…
It’s really appreciated when you do book your tickets early. Not only do you save yourself £££s but you also help us plan ahead and book even more great artists, safe in the knowledge that we have the ticket sales revenue to justify them. The costs of staging our Festival (and every other festival) have risen by over 40% in the two years since the pandemic so your support for Wickham and for all other festivals really means a lot to us. Thank you. We hope to see you at Wickham 2024.

Very best wishes,
The Wickham Festival Team

    Can’t wait! I’m coming from the U.S. 🥰

What a shame, Seth Lakeman and Suzie Quatro clashing!

Just digging our camping gear out in preparation!

Yes, as others have said, a site plan would be good even if things have to change at the last minute. So the Big Tops are on the west of the Wickham to Waltham Chase road this year. Where is the camping in relation to the Big Top field? Is it the other side of the main road? Surely not.

Does excited happy dance 🕺, wanders off to pack, sun cream, waterproofs, sun dress, thermals, sandals, wellies... having done Wickham in all weather's I just know the music and site will be AMAZING whatever the british weather throws at us. Thank you. Xx

Can we arrive on the Wednesday?
