Wickham Festival News

Stage times for this year’s Wickham Festival (Main Stages 1 & 2)

Now that it’s less than 2 weeks until we open our gates for Wickham Festival 2022 things sure are getting exciting … and busy for the team!  Yesterday we posted our stage times on our social feeds and they have just been published to our Line Up pages.

There were some last-minute changes to accommodate the many comments we had regarding a clash between Show of Hands and Levellers.  On the Saturday, Show of Hands will be finishing at 21.15 on our Main Stage 2.  The Levellers will then start their set at 21.30 on our Main Stage 2.  It’s a 5-minute walk between stages which gives you time for a bar visit on route.  Perfect!

We know there are still clashes for some visitors requiring a decision to be made.  As you can imagine it’s a logistical nightmare to get things right and certainly impossible to please everybody.  Overall, we think there are very few clashes of acts with a similar fan base and are happy with the outcome.

Please note there will be four stages this year.  Alongside our Main Stage 1 and Main Stage 2 there will be The Acoustic Stage and The Twisted Tea Rooms Stage. We will publish stage times for these soon.

In all likelihood there might be updates to stage times before or during the event.  Follow us on Twitter or Facebook to keep up-to-date.  We will of course update our website as soon as possible.

Don’t forget to help plan your day you can see all stage times alongside each other in our handy diagram on Clashfinder.  Before setting off you can even highlight and print your own itinerary.

We’ve also updated our Comedy page with detail of who’s on when.  This is a great way to unwind after the music on the main stages finishes at 23.00.  Comedy begins at 23.30. There’s also late-night storytelling and other entertainment until the arena closes at 01.00.

Finally, as usual there are plans for something to entertain those of you that arrive on Wednesday.  This is likely to be between 20:00 and 22:00 …  precise details to be confirmed.

These guys are amazing!! Such talented musicians and give a ‘Doors’ experience. They also use 60’s equipment. May be good for the Thursday night tribute band slot. Hands down best tribute band I have ever seen. thedoorsinconcert.com/

Nothing for the kids this year (no bouncy castle, laser quest, fit up etc) so a no from us until they’re older.
