Wickham Festival News

This weekend is your last chance to save £20 for a weekend ticket!

Wow it’s just over a month until this year’s festival gets going and we can’t wait to get welcome you all to Wickham Festival 2019.  It promises to be our best ever event with so many incredible artists to look forward to and what we hope you’ll agree are improvements everywhere to make your experience better than ever before.

If you’ve yet to buy tickets to this year’s Wickham Festival you can still save £20 on every adult weekend season ticket if you book this weekend … but please hurry!  Season ticket prices rise on Monday 1st July.

As ever we always listen to feedback via our Facebook and Twitter channels and there’s some exciting changes this year.  We have a bigger 2nd Stage Big Top so we now have TWO main stages, each housed in a 44m x 44m Big Top. Our Valley Stage Big Top will continue to have seated and ‘standing only’ areas. However our newly-enlarged Village Stage Big Top will be standing only – most of the livelier bands will perform here.  We’re working through our stage times and will post these soon on our line up page.

There will be big video screens each side of the stage in both our main stage Big Tops to enhance your concert experience and allow everyone a good view of what’s happening on stage.

We have more toilets, more ‘Posh Wash’ showers, more luxury loos on campsites – plus new environmentally-friendly, single cubicle, vacuum loos in our Backstage VIP Areas.

There’s an extra 28 acres of grassed camping fields meaning everyone can camp on grass for the first time whether in tents, caravans, campervans or motorhomes … no more camping on stubble! Our new camping fields also have a tarmac access road along their entire length meaning easy access whatever the weather.

There will be a breakfast bar & late-night drinks & snacks venue on our new camping fields with 8am opening for the arena Friday to Sunday for weekend season ticket holders (11am for day ticket holders).  There’s an extended programme of morning workshops, yoga, healing massage, ‘Meet the Artist’ sessions etc.

There’ll be a late-night silent disco as well as our popular late-night comedy & cabaret plus our new ‘Magic Teapot’ sessions venue, plus an even wider choice of food outlets including a carvery and a ‘Cheesy Vinyl’ bar and sit-down restaurant.

But of course above anything else we’re looking forward to the great music.  A late addition to our line-up and by popular request, Holy Moly and the Crackers will appear on Saturday 3rd August!
