Fans who attended this year’s festival have been given an extra week to claim a £60 saving for next year’s event.

Revellers at the picturesque site were told they needed to book before they left for home in order to get the maximum discount on the regular weekend season ticket price of £160.

But that deadline has been extended until August 15 to help those who were unable to book on site for next year’s event from August 2-5.

Organiser Peter Chegwyn said: “We know it is not always easy to book up while you are here. For one thing people are far too busy enjoying the music to go to the ticket office!

“But we also know most people probably would not have been carrying cheque books or that amount of cash so it makes sense to allow them to sort everything once they are back home.

“Anyone who attended the festival can claim a £60 saving on a weekend season ticket if they send a cheque before August 15. After that they will still be able to obtain the normal Early Bird discount of £50.

“It is a massive saving on the normal price and it is our way of thanking people for their backing. We have already had a lot of bookings for next year.

“The fact people are prepared to commit cash even before they know the line-up shows how much they enjoyed the event and how they trust us to put on another fantastic festival.

“We are very grateful for their support and loyalty but it shows again what a special event this is with its own unique atmosphere which brings people back year after year.”

To claim the £60 discount (or £30 for those aged 10-16) simply send a cheque for £100 per adult or £50 for each Under 16 with Under 10’s admitted completely free.

Cheques should be made payable to “Wickham Festivals Ltd” and posted to The Wickham Festival Office, 51, Russell Street, Gosport, Hampshire PO12 3JD to arrive by Tuesday August 15 – we’ve added an extra day to allow for mail delays!

Please state how many Under 10’s will be attending with you. You can also reserve camping at £3o per tent or caravan/motorhome. Please state which.

By booking now you save against any increased prices and against inflation… and you don’t have to worry about finding the cash next year. It’s all sorted!

Please note the £60 maximum discount is only for those sending a cheque. Online Early Bird bookings only have a £50 saving.

Email confirmation will be sent within 14 days of your booking being received and printed tickets will follow in the New Year. If the festival is not staged for any reason your money will be refunded in full.
