Now here’s a great idea… Anyone who has bought a weekend ticket for the Wickham Festival will get free admission to a second event!
The site is being used for an exciting Ideas Festival on Wednesday and Thursday with a host of guest speakers and experts… plus some great music.
Taking the stage will be pop star, Loose Women panellist and X Factor judge Sinitta who had a top three hit with So Macho. She is scheduled for 6.15pm.
Then at 7.15 fans can enjoy Fleetwood Bac, the world’s first and UK’s best Fleetwood Mac tribute band, endorsed by Mick Fleetwood himself.
In addition, you can enjoy the novelty of a very different kind of festival. Ideas Festival is for creatives, disruptors, business owners and their teams and also those who are passionate about making the world a better place.
Speakers include Steven Bartlett of Dragons Den along with the founders of Calm, King of Shaves, Phones4U with sessions from TikTok, public speaking workshops, pilates, food & drink samples from the finest independents, sustainable start-up pitching, a boujee car boot sale, latte art master-classes, music and much more.
IdeasFest founder Francesca James said: “The idea is to bring together people who are positive about leaving the world a better place than they found it… people who believe in inclusion, diversity, solving social problems and protecting the planet.
“That is why Wickham is a perfect fit for us; it matches our target demographic perfectly. We like the size of it and the ethos. I really think visitors will find it interesting and inspirational.
“We are a Cardiff-based business and many of our 50,000 entrepreneurs are in London and the south-east so it is a great location and a lovely setting. We are hoping for a couple of thousand people – plus Wickham Festival goers.”
Admission is £100 and any local entrepreneurs interested in attending should email vip@ideasfest.co.uk but those who have bought Wickham Festival weekend tickets will be admitted free.
If you’ve already bought a Music Festival Weekend Season Ticket, you will also be able to gain free entry to the new Ideas Festival on Wednesday/Thursday. If you haven’t bought a weekend ticket yet then click here
Gates open at 9.30am on Wednesday and close at 10pm. The following day, the event starts at 8.30am and finishes at 4pm allowing an hour for a frantic tidy-up before the Wickham Festival takes over!
