Travel & Camping for Wickham Festival 2019

Campsites open from 12 noon Wednesday and from 10am Thursday. We have an extra 28 acres of wonderful grassed fields this year so all camping is on grass… none
on stubble. All campsites will be well signposted so please follow the signs on arrival.

Sat Nav – PO17 5HD

If travelling on Wednesday, please note there are road works with 3-way traffic lights at the junction of the A32 (from the M27 junction 11) and the A334 with some delays. The road works are being suspended from Thursday for the duration of the Festival.

There’s an extra free concert for early arrivals on Wednesday evening at Wickham Community Centre in Mill Lane, Wickham featuring Alistair Russell, Alan Burke, Rachel Newton and The Godel Trio. Doors from 7pm, music from 7.30pm – 11pm. Free entry with food and drink available.

We have a Canadian food outlet on our new camping fields which will be open on Wednesday evening. There are also some excellent pubs, bistros and restaurants in
The Square, Wickham serving food until late on Wednesday evening. Please note food won’t be available in our arena on Wednesday, the arena opens on Thursday afternoon.

On arrival, please have your camping tickets available for inspection. You can set-up camp before swapping your tickets for wristbands from the Festival Box Office on
Thursday. Programmes will be on sale Wednesday afternoon on our campsites and from the Box Office by the arena entrance on Thursday.

We have divided our camping fields into areas for ‘Caravans & Motorhomes’, ‘Tented Camping’, ‘Disabled Camping’, ‘Quiet Camping’ etc. We also have a ‘Mixed Camping’ area where groups wishing to camp in a mix of tents and vehicles can camp together. Please ensure whoever arrives first saves enough room for those arriving later.

You’ll be handed a letter on arrival with a few tips on camping and the Festival generally. Please read it! The letter also contains a 24/7 Emergency Phone Number. On the back is a booking form for ‘earlybird’ tickets for next year. You can save a whopping £80 on every adult ticket for 2020 if you book before leaving this year’s Festival.

Please note it’s a little further to walk from our new camping fields to the arena. We hope the grass instead of stubble makes this worthwhile. You do have to cross
the main Winchester Road but we will have a pedestrian crossing point with temporary traffic lights from Thursday to Sunday, manned by professional traffic marshals from
8am to 2am daily. There’s then a pedestrian ‘short-cut’ to our arena entrance. You do NOT need to walk along the main road to Blind Lane unless heading for the village.

From Thursday to Sunday we will have a free shuttle bus service linking all campsites with the Festival arena, Wickham Community Centre and the village centre.
The buses will run at 15 minute intervals from 8.30am to 5pm daily.

Lastly, if you’ve to buy tickets but are thinking of travelling, day and weekend tickets are still on sale from our website and will be available on the gate except for Sunday
day tickets which are now completely sold-out.

We look forward to seeing you and hope you enjoy a wonderful weekend of magical music in beautiful scenic surroundings. Safe journey.

Missed out on @oasis tickets? You can enjoy a full weekend of top quality music at #wickhamfestival instead... and tickets are a lot easier to book. Simply go to and save up to £100 on an Early Bird weekend ticket if you book now.

We've fewer than 100 'earlybird' weekend season tickets still available for Wickham 2025. At just £40 a day (£160 for the weekend) with no added booking fees, they're the Festival bargain of the summer so don't delay. Prices have to rise next weekend.
