Latest artists announced for Wickham Festival 2016

We’ve just updated our website with another 10 artists including the incredible SAS Band, Spike’s All-Stars, featuring Fish, Toyah and Roger Taylor of ‘Queen’ who’ll be headlining on Saturday.   One of the world’s top Celtic music groups, the Grammy Award nominated, all-female, traditional Irish-American band  Cherish The Ladies will be apprearing on Sunday. Beautiful vocals, superb musicianship and stunning step dancing. We’ve added artist profiles for each so follow the links below to find out more and watch videos of their performances.

    Way back before Covid The Song for Wickham was written by Steve Knightley to celebrate Wickhams 800th anniversary. Post-Covid Steve & Wickhams Community Choir performed the song at the 2022 Wickham Festival.     Wonderful! I sang in the choir with Steve that Festival. Is it a recording if that day or a new one in a studio?

    We've fewer than 100 'earlybird' weekend season tickets still available for Wickham 2025. At just £40 a day (£160 for the weekend) with no added booking fees, they're the Festival bargain of the summer so don't delay. Prices have to rise next weekend.
