Wickham Festival News

Stage times announced for Quay West, Acoustic, and Twisted Tearooms Stages

We’ve just added stage times for our Quay West, Acoustic, and Twisted Tearooms Stages to our line up page.  These smaller stages are the place to see the very best local artists and the wealth of talented musicians we have right here on our doorstep. Wickham Festival has always been about supporting local artists and promoting our part of the world.

There’s a huge variety of artists with different styles and we promise you’ll leave Wickham having discovered a new artist.  We’ve only added profile pages for our two main stages so there is a lot more music for you to explore.

Quay West Stage

The Quay West Stage is sponsored by Quay West Studios.  They offer a whole range of services to local musicians including full commercial production (running on Cubase), rehearsal rooms, music tuition, and equipment hire.  Headlining this weekend will be Nick Tann and the Whole Family, Ticklin’ the Pickle, Jack Boyd, and emerging new rock band Baby Said who are taking the music scene by storm.

Acoustic Stage

As ever there’s a wealth of local talent on our acoustic stage.  Acts include Mike Fry & Lewis Harding, Rob Johnston & Tim Gower, Pete & Matt, Andy Hawxwell, and DiElle.

Twisted Tearooms Stage

Fancy a pot of tea and some cake?  Then head over to The Twisted Tearooms to unwind.  Whilst you’re there, you won’t miss out on listening to some great music.  Appearing here will be Jol rose, Rob Green, and Tom Davies and The Bluebirds amongst many, many other performers.

Cant have too many magic teapots - but can traders PLEASE have a local wifi network as some other festivals do, the poor phone/internet signal at the new site was a big problem 🙂

Two would be good One huge one less so. Magic teapot is an escape

Would prefer 1 magic teapot and the return of Bunnychow 😀
