Supporting local charities

Have a break between acts you want to see?  Then please stop by our charity stalls to learn about the great work they do …. or just say hello and chat with some friendly, wonderful volunteers!

Every year we provide free stall spaces for some local charities. Please support them when you’re at the Festival.  We’ve supported many LOCAL charities over the years such as Two Saints who provide people with homes and specialist support so they feel more valued and secure, and ready to take the next steps. 

George’s Rockstars

George’s Rockstars was set up in memory of 6 year old George, who was diagnosed with leukaemia at just 22 months old in November 2014. Their mission is to make children in hospitals smile through the power of music therapy.

In 2025 Leo Sayer was one of the many artists signing our guitar to raise funds supporting George’s Rockstars

Rowans Hospice

Our festival shuttle bus service, linking the Festival with Wickham Square is provided free. All we ask is that you consider making a donation when using the service to Rowans Hospice. Rowans Hospice is our local hospice providing free care and support to adults in our community who have a life-limiting illness and their families.

Your donations raised a fantastic £793.78 for Rowans Hospice in 2025. Thank you!

Many people think that hospices are all about dying. But through their services they support people to live as well as they can with their illness. 78% of their income is generated by legacies, donations, fundraising and their retail shops. When visiting Wickham village please consider making a contribution to this outstanding service. It is only possible to provide the support and care that they do through the ongoing support of our local community.

Wickham Festival is saying a big thank you to our wonderful festival goers for helping to raise a fantastic £793.78 for Rowans Hospice in 2025 whilst on the festival shuttle bus. Here’s hoping we can match or better that this year!

Rose Road

Rose Road make a positive difference to the lives of young people with disabilities.

Marvels and Meltdowns

Also this year you can visit the Marvels and Meltdowns stall. It is estimated that there are 2,802 children and young people aged 0-17 years or 3,823 children and young people aged 0-24 years living with autism in Hampshire. Marvels and Meltdowns provide a safe and fully inclusive space open to all providing 2 play spaces, a refreshment area, food & drink, garden and a sensory room.
