If you live near Wickham or are coming down early for the Wickham Festival, why not check out The Garden Show which returns to the beautiful setting of Rookesbury Park near Wickham for its second year from July 24-26.
It offers a wonderful mix of gardening inspiration, shopping, art, design, food and family entertainment.
With more than 170 exhibitors, visitors can discover specialist plants, garden and home accessories, sculpture, art, fashion, artisan crafts, toys and gifts, alongside delicious food and wines in the Country Food Marquee. The show also supports many local independent businesses, showcasing unique products not found on the high street.

The historic Rookesbury Park house provides a distinctive setting for the Art & Design section of the event, while a programme of expert talks and demonstrations runs throughout the weekend. Gardening expert Paul Slater will be available daily to answer plant questions and present his talk, Life Changing Small Gardens. Additional guest speakers include Tracy Mackness, Michael Forester, Dr Ian Bedford and Ben Cross, covering topics from gardening and wildlife to inspiring personal stories.
Visitors can also enjoy wellbeing sessions with Sammie Venn, live music from Dawn Gracie and The Jazz Trio, artisan demonstrations and spectacular aerial displays by Huxley Birds of Prey.
There is plenty for families, including children’s entertainment from Crazee Hazee, Punch and Judy shows, circus skills workshops, rides, inflatables and a Giant Tombola. Visitors can also enter a charity draw to win an Allium Sculpture by Bill Moulton-Day in support of Winchester Hospice.
