Comedy at Wickham Festival 2018
We’ve just updated our comedy page with all the information for our 2018 line up. The comedy starts after the music, so this is a great way to end your evening. This year it is being extended for the full 4 days and each night comedy will start at 23.30.
Explore Wickham village, a rural delight steeped in history and culture
A real feature for our festival is the picturesque setting right on our doorstep. For city dwellers venturing out and visitors travelling from afar, Wickham village is a must see to make the most of your weekend and get involved with the local community. There will be a festival shuttle bus service every 15 minutes from 8.30am to 5.30pm each day between our festival campsites and Wickham Square.

This week we’ve added a few more artists for our Friday line up. First off we have Tim Edey who has toured the world and recorded with most of the major names in Celtic/Contemporary roots music. Tim, now a name on the world stage in his own right after seventeen years of hard work, is rated by many to be one of the world’s finest ever Melodoen and Guitar players in the folk & contemporary scene today!

Roll Up! Roll Up! The circus is coming to Wickham Festival!
Among the many exciting new attractions at this year’s festival we have Fit Up, a fabulously fantastic popup touring theatre circus company. Thea-cus! Fit Up performers are Natasha McGhie and Corey Pickett. Natasha has worked in circus and theatre since a child including Big Fun, No Fit State community and Bassline Circus. Corey is a polished all-round international performer with a background in theatre. He combines circus, music and physical theatre to create an energetic and eccentric performance. From 5 ball juggling to a 5 foot unicycle, you can guarantee Corey will enthral and entertain.

Roger Chapman Family & Friends joins our Sunday Wickham Festival line up
We’ve added a few more artists to our line up section in the last month. First off one of Britain’s most distinctive rock vocalists, Roger Chapman of ‘Family’, is confirmed for an appearance on Sunday 5th August. He’ll be joining Richard Thompson, The Undertones, and The Blues Band amongst many others to make our final day a memorable one.
