We always endeavour to respond to feedback and are trying some new ideas this year that have been suggested to us. This includes a brand new “Chill-Out Zone” with cocktail bar, deckchairs and hammocks! We’re hoping this will provide the perfect area to recharge your energy.
It’s exactly two weeks until the music starts!
For early risers, we’ll be opening the arena from 8am this year to weekend season ticket holders. There are breakfasts available plus some morning activities including yoga, Folk Orc workshops and informal ‘Meet the Artist’ sessions and workshops with the likes of Wizz Jones. This does not include Thursday morning, so those arriving on Wednesday can have a lie in after our free concert at The Wickham Centre or having a drink at the festival bars which will be open on Wednesday evening whilst we finish off the site build.
With just over 2 weeks until everything gets going we’ve just updated all are line up and artist pages to give stage times for artists appearing on our All Time Grates Stage and Hapi Festival Stage. The headliners for The All Time Grates Stage are KT Tunstall, 10CC, Show of Hands, The Levellers and The Peatbog Faeries.
“MEET SOME WICKHAM GHOSTS, THE PUB WHERE HORSES ARE REGULARS, AND MUCH MORE WITH WICKHAM HISTORY WALKS”
By popular request we will have big screens either side of our main stage this year plus another big projection screen outside our main Big Top so everyone will have a great view of everything that’s happening onstage.
We’ve less than 30 camping tickets left and are likely to sell-out in the next few days. If you know of anyone thinking of camping who has yet to buy a camping ticket please advise them to do so before it’s too late.
With now less than a month until Wickham Festival 2017 our whole team is really getting into gear to bring you our best event yet. As a festival organiser those weather reports are becoming ever more of interest. C’mon Carol Kirkwood … give us all some good news!

It’s the 250th Anniversary of the Wickham Church Bells this year. Wickham Bellringers would like to invite any Wickham Festival bellringers to join them for a bell ringing session on Saturday 5th August from 10.30-12.00 at St Nicholas Church.
The weather has been hotting up this last week, so it can only mean one thing … Wickham Festival is within touching distance. We’re thrilled to say that ticket sales are surpassing anything we’ve seen in previous years! You can still save £20 on every Weekend Season Ticket by booking Earlybird Weekend Season Tickets before June 30th. We’re delighted to announce a late addition to our Wickham Festival 2017 line up. The superb singer-songwriter Gaz Brookfield will be performing at Wickham on Sunday 6th August.
We’ll be opening our campsites from 5pm to 9pm on Wednesday 2nd August and, for early arrivals, we’ve organised an extra free concert at Wickham Community Centre on Wednesday evening featuring TradArr and Les Barker plus support.
We’ve just updated our site with even more artists to join an already incredible line up for Wickham Festival 2017. We’re delighted to announce that KT Tunstall is our latest confirmed headliner. She’ll be appearing on Thursday 3rd August along with 10cc, Boo Hewerdine and Andy Fairweather-Low amongst others. She’s at the top of her game having released KIN, her fifth studio album, at the end of 2016. She’ll be sure to perform brand new tracks from this successful album alongside some old favourites…
