Wickham Festival 2010

Fun for all the family

Storytelling, street theatre, a cartoon cinema, a circus (and circus skills workshops), The Digital Funfair, Ticklish Allsorts, Punch & Judy, Face-Painting, a ‘Make ‘n’ Take’ crafts tent and a whole lot more – there will be plenty to keep the kids amused at this year’s Wickham Festival.

We’ve also some new entertainers and surprises in store.

Wickham is a very safe and relaxed family-friendly Festival with lots for youngsters of all ages on our Festival site plus skateboard ramps and a childrens playground next door.

  1. Loved the festival last year, but would love it even more if there were more activities/workshops to entertain the children and keep them interested!!

  2. We’re planning even more activities and workshops for children of all ages this year. The ever-popular Ticklish Allsorts will also be back for the whole weekend as will the Groovy Movie cinema tent.

  3. Would be great to have something like the Southampton Scrapstore at the festival, where kids can go mad making their own scrap models etc. At Larmer tree there was clay modelling which was a massive hit with people of all ages.

  4. There will be a ‘Make ‘n’ Take’ Crafts Marquee for kids at the Festival run by the lovely Craftscene people from Portsmouth.

  5. Please, please, please…more, more, more children’s entertainment!!! We love coming with our kids but they would love more crafty, interactive-type workshops-we want to keep coming!! xx
