Second year I have been, both years with a friend and four children between us. We LOVE Wickham. Even better than last year, Loved Toyah, Rolf, Bellowhead, Kate Rusby, Men they couldn't hang, Teddy Thompson…..And entertainment for the children was better this year. They loved the craft tent, and spent time in the solar cinema. as much as I wrinkle my nose at the EA tent (For me camping is about getting away from modern tech!) my son loves it, and doesn't spend all his time there, just pops in, and loved the competitions. That said….even more children stuff would be fab. If the kids are happy and entertained, us parents are happy just chilling with the music and a good book/cider/chat…..!!!! A lovely family friendly festival, I will be back! (Oh, and thought the toilet's were better this year – always a bonus!) Thank you!

Just to say a massive thanks to Peter and everybody else for a wonderful Wickham 2011. The quality of the music was consistently high. Can't wait for 2012!

Personal highlights were Richard Thompson and The Men They Couldn't Hang but no real low points this year.

Thought the use of the Community Hall enhanced the festival and would like to see this developed. Would it be possible to put on low profile alternatives there, when mainstream acts are on stage? Wasn't interested in seeing Toyah, for instance but an emerging singer/songwriter would have been great.
One comment made by several people was about the bar at the Community Centre. Would it be feasible to offer hot drinks/hot snacks at the late night concerts?

Roll on 2012!
