Not a big fan of the Alabama 3………..
No chance of getting the Saw doctors back?
Or Chumbawumba?
Would also love to see Martyn Joseph return.

Pilgrim's Way would be excellent, if possible! Not so sure about The Wurzels, after seeing them at The Great British Folk Festival in December. Opinions were distinctly divided there….
Galley Beggar are one of the most exciting up and coming folk rock bands IMHO and would love to see them at Wickham, Peter.
There's a Scottish Pirate Folk Metal band called Alestorm who are also great fun……….

We are now taking bookings for the full ALABAMA 3 band at UK and European Festivals summer 2012. The full band are always the booking priority but we can also consider requests for the unplugged.
Please contact Dan Silver, dan@vathq.co.uk for further details.

We'll try contacting them again. They were great at Wychwood last year.

I wonder if ther are any more waiting in the wings ?"
We hope for one more plus one for our Easter Festival in Wickham. Currently negotiating for a couple more top-name artists for Wickham in August. Keep an eye on this website for news.

Excellent set by June Tabor & Oysterband in Chichester last night. However really enjoyed support set by Pilgrims' Way, from Stockport. Well worth an invite for 2012. Spoke to Thom and he was up for it.

Just a quickie to second Coast – I had a chat with them after their last gig and they agreed they would love to come back to Wickham if they were invited…
Otherwise, MadManx has got a pretty good list there! Looking forward to tomorrow's announcement!

"Looking forward to 2012 – but please no Dreadzone as someone is suggesting! Also beer just has to be cheaper Wickham was up there with the costliest festivals last year!"
I thought our beer prices were actually very reasonable – £3 to £3.50 for most Real Ales – but I'll make sure our Bar Manager sees your comment. I know he has plans for an excellent selection of Real Ales this summer. As for artists, Dreadzone won't be appearing (apologies to those who asked for them) but a number of new artists will be announced on this website on Friday 20 January including one of our Friday headliners and a couple of bands requested by people posting on this forum (proof we do take note of your suggestions which are always welcomed).
