New: More Artists for Wickham Festival

Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel are among the latest bands confirmed for this year’s Wickham Festival in Hampshire. They will appear at Wickham on Friday 3rd August alongside K T Tunstall and The Proclaimers.

Also newly confirmed are top Irish traditional band Dervish; singer-songwriter Jim Causley; The John Otway Big Band; Heidi Talbot with John McCusker & Boo Hewerdine; and the highly entertaining Shamus O’Blivion and the Megadeath Morrismen.

Jools Holland and K T Tunstall for Wickham Festival

The sensational K T Tunstall is the latest star name to be confirmed for this year’s Wickham Summer Festival.

Famed for chart hits like ‘Black Horse & The Cherry Tree’ and ‘Suddenly I See’, K T Tunstall (and her pedal) will appear on Friday 3rd August along with fellow Scots The Proclaimers plus Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel (among others).

Jools Holland and his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra with special guests Ruby Turner and Chris Difford of ‘Squeeze’ will headline our opening night on Thursday 2nd August. Support will be the excellent young singer / guitarist Blair Dunlop. Gates open at 4pm. Blair Dunlop will be onstage at 7pm and Jools Holland will be onstage at 8.30pm.

Storytelling, street theatre, a cartoon cinema, a circus (and circus skills workshops), The Digital Funfair, Ticklish Allsorts, Punch & Judy, Face-Painting, a ‘Make ‘n’ Take’ crafts tent and a whole lot more – there will be plenty to keep the kids amused at this year’s Wickham Festival.

We’ve also some new entertainers and surprises in store.

Wickham is a very safe and relaxed family-friendly Festival with lots for youngsters of all ages on our Festival site plus skateboard ramps and a childrens playground next door.
